the pool is ready

Well, the pool is ready and working. We weren't sure if the filter/pump was going to work, but it does. Josh and I had to go get a new set of hoses for it yesterday. We had one of our hoses break. We also picked up some fun things for the pool. I got a mat to lay on and some goggles for Josh. I am hoping to get to swim tomorrow. It has been hot here. It has been in the 90's and humid. The water will feel good.
Today I have to go to class and lab. I will be home around dinner time. Have a great day!!

  1. Hi Lori!

Sounds like you are having a busy summer even though it is hot. It is hot here too. The pool sounds nice. Enjoy the time with Josh. They grow up so fast.

We had a nice Father's day message at church too and the girls came to visit after church. It was a great day!

  5. Hi Lori! Great that you got the pool up and can start to enjoy it. I remember having little wading pools as a kid and the water would heat up from the sun. Is that possible with a big one like yours? Enjoy! (((Hugz)))

  7. Hi Lori, the pool sounds so great! I purchased one last year and then the home owners said we couldn't have an above ground pool, so i was so bummed i could have cried, so I took it back.. they did say if no one ever complained about it I could possibly put one up. but our backyard has a downward slope to it and it would have taken great work to get it level for the large pool i bought. i was going to make it be a salt water pool, so we wouldn't have the chemicals. i guess you can do that now with hardly any problems switching it over. be sure your doggies don't get in the pool, they say chlorine is horrible for dogs. i found all this info our when my Ben got the lymphoma.
Anyway, your Sunday Church service sounded so wonderful.
I had to smile at the comment you left over at Toni's about the picture your Grannie had and you pretended you would be in the picture. That was so cute. I'm so glad you got the picture as I'm sure it is very special to you.
    Happy Swimming !
