Memorial Day

This is a picture taken of my Grandpa Oslin (Carl Maxwell Oslin) when he was in WWII. He made it through the war and passed away about 5 years ago. He was 85. He never spoke of the war. I am thinking about him today and all of the other brave men and women who have fought to keep our country free.

computer virus and ice-cream

I am on Karl's computer, so I cannot add any of my siggies or days of the week, but I wanted to make a post.
I was able to lay out in the sun yesterday, and yes I had on lots of sunscreen on. I have a little color now. It is amazing how my legs get to be glow in the dark white over the winter. Karl and Josh hit golf balls while I was out there and kept me company.
I was online last night on my computer and got some crazy virus, so we are dealing with that, but haven't had any luck getting the virus off my computer, so that is why I am on Karl's computer. I got it while surfing online. It shut my virus software off and everything.
Then we took Josh for ice-cream. It sounded like a good idea. Well, last year I was diagnosed with acid reflux, I took my medicine, but I must also be a little lactose intolerant because now my tummy hurts and I will leave it at that. I will be sticking home today until this passes. I need to clean house and do laundry anyway.
I am really enjoying blogger. I am glad you are all able to visit me. It seems like not many people blog anymore though. I need to find the active bloggers.

tanning?

It is a beautiful sunny day out. I am thinking I will go out and work on my tan a little today. Then maybe clean house a little this evening. I did not get a thing done yesterday except working on this blog. I wish I knew what was wrong with my other blog, but it is silly to drive myself crazy trying to fix it. Have a great day!!

Memorial Day Weekend

We finished school at the preschool yesterday. It was kind of a rough year, I am tired, so I am glad summer is here. When class was finished I went to the university to drop off my background check, TB test and teacher insurance card for my class this summer. That class starts on June 7th.
Josh and Karl went golfing last night. Josh has been wanting to play golf here lately so he and Karl have been doing that. They have fun.
We do not have any plans for this weekend as of yet. I do have a few things I am doing next week though. I am finally getting my hair cut. I straightened it the other day and it is almost to my bottom. I am having a few inches cut off. Josh and I are also having our teeth cleaned and the following week Josh starts with his orthodontal stuff. They will be making molds of his teeth. He needs braces bad.
If you are able to make it here to read my blog, that is great. I have been having trouble with it shutting down again. I have no idea how to fix it.
