Tuesday 4 Meme- The Art of Living

                                                           The Art of Living

1.  What gives your life meaning or purpose?    Why does it do that for you?  I believe that knowing God gives my life meaning and purpose.  I have a purpose on Earth to bring others to Christ so we can make it to heaven, but in a different way, God has put me in charge of teaching little children, being a mom and wife and being a friend.  I hope that my life will have an impact on the people I come into contact with for years to come.

2.  How do you define success and happiness for yourself?  I suppose I would feel successful when I see my students learning concepts I am teaching them.  When my son knows how to find success and knows God.  These things all
make me happy.

3.  What lessons have your biggest challenges taught you?   I always tell my students and Josh too that it is more than ok to make mistakes.  That is how we learn.  I think it is also good to know that just because people see things in a different way than we do, doesn't mean it is wrong.  I have seen students get to an answer to a question in a much different way than I do, but they
are still right.  Critical thinking is so important.

4.  How do you want to impact the world or those around you?  I want people to know Jesus like
me, so we can all go to heaven.  I also want to think I had a hand in helping kids to learn.  I
teach pre-k, so I am a foundational teacher, and I take that job very seriously.  I want my students to go to kindergarten ready to build on the skills I have taught them.  I want their
skills to be solid.

  3. I like that you teach others that we are able to make mistakes and learn from them. Trying to be perfect never works.

  5. You take your profession seriously, as you should. Teaching our children to be kind and letting them know that mistakes are how we learn is the most important job, hands down. Thank you for the good work you do with our youth, Lori!! I enjoyed your answers and my visit here!!
