Sunday Stealing Feels Distinctly Adolescent

Sunday Stealing Feels Distinctly Adolescent

Have You Ever ...

1) Skipped school? yes, I skipped once in high school.  My dad was a high school teacher, so I actually asked him if I could go home and he said yes.  It was my senior year and school was almost over.  I skipped plenty of times in college.

2) Lettered in a school sport? cheerleading

3) Made a prank phone call? yes, my college roommate and I would do this
voice and call one of our guy friends telling him we were watching him. We
had to tell him it was us after a while, he never figured it out. She sounded like an alien.

4) Paid for a meal with coins? Maybe in college.

5) Laughed until some sort of beverage came out of your nose? oh yes and
that hurts.

  1. I didn't know cheerleaders got letters. The jock world was largely foreign to me.

  2. I've never had a beverage come out my nose. I've laughed and kinda spit it out, but that doesn't count, does it (and it doesn't hurt).

  3. I had forgotten that cheerleaders got letters! Now that you mention it, I recall having some coke go up my sinus and burn like crazy but it didn't come out of my nose.

  4. Your answers are great today. How funny that the guy friend never figured out that it was y'all making the prank calls!

  6. I had milk come out of my nose once. I was elementary-school young and my brother made me laugh at the table. Don't remember if it hurt, but it made everyone laugh harder! We did prank calls when we were tweens... "Hello, is your refrigerator running? Better go catch it!!" The neighbors all knew it was us! LOL Thanks for the memories and giggles today, Lori!

  7. I am so glad I'm not the only one who skipped school, although I'm not sure that having parental permission actually counts.

  8. I didn't skip when I was a student, but I've skipped as a teacher. 😉
