Sunday Stealing- Misc. Questions

1.Which is more romantic: an expensive, glittering bouquet OR flowers that were hand
picked as they grew beside the parkway?  I don't think I have ever been given a handpicked
bouquet from a significant other, just regular bouquet's from a florist.  The kids give me
handpicked flowers, but if Karl were to pick flowers for me, I would think that was really
sweet and romantic because they would be specifically chosen by him.

2.Do you know yourself well enough to understand why you feel the way you do?  Yes.

3.Which do you do more often: let movies, songs and books put your feelings into words for
you or put your feelings into words by yourself?  I put my own feelings into words.

4.Do you believe celebrities when they are endorsing a product?  Not at all

5.What kind of movies do you wish were made more often?  I enjoy movies made from books I have
read and I also enjoy movies based on true stories.

6.Does fashion matter to you?  yes and no.  I love fashion, but I do not necessarily look good in
the fashion I like, so I do my best.  I need to lose weight.  I try to look nice though.

7.Should politicians be held to the same legal standards as everyone else?  definitely, probably
higher standards.

8. If you became president, whom would you invite to sing at your inauguration?  no idea.

9. Do you try to write/say what you are feeling in a true and simple way?  I think I do.
10.What is your worst daily habit?  biting my cuticles

11. If you had your choice which one TV show would you have canceled?  I personally really
hate reality shows, but I know everyone likes different types of shows, so I would not want
anything canceled, I just don't watch it.

12.Do you like the taste of sweet or salt?  both

13.Are you very precise about what words you use to describe your feelings and thoughts?  probably
not as precise as some may be.

14.What do you feel the most guilty about?  Not getting to see my mom more.

15.Do you meditate?  I like to be quiet and think about things.  That is easier said than
done with my husband around. He talks all of the time.

  1. Oh boy, yes, not looking good in the fashions I like...that's me in a nutshell! Oh well, I'm getting to be old enough that I care more about comfort than fashion these days. Enjoy your Sunday, Lori!

  2. I now have the opposite problem with clothes. I have lost so much weight that I could probably shop in the junior department. I could see how meditating at work would be welcomed with your job. Happy Sunday Lori!

  3. You meditate at school? Are you daydreaming when the kids are taking tests?

    1. Oh jeez! I thought that said mediate. No, I do not meditate at school...hahahaha

  4. We have some similar answers today.
I enjoyed your all of your answers.
Have a great Sunday watching the Chiefs.

  5. I really enjoyed your answers, hope you have beautiful day friend. smiles

  6. So you find movies made from books you like don't live up to the books? I do.

    1. Yes, I agree...but I still enjoy "seeing" them.

  7. I teach my students to meditate--calming and relaxing activities help them.

    1. Yes, I do too. It is a good skill for everyone to have. We have several "breathing techniques" we teach them, and some classes like to make up their own. ♥

  8. My hubby isn't the talker, I am. Sometimes I wish he would talk more. Enjoyed your answers, hope you're having a good day.

  9. Another fun bunch of Sunday questions! I enjoyed your answers, Lori! Wishing you a great week ahead!

  10. When you said that you wished you could see your mom more, it resonated with me. I really still miss my Mom and would have liked to have a lot more time with her.

Also, I agree about the Politicians should be held to higher standards. That way they would be right there in the dock with the people who profited on, say, War, for one thing.

  11. Great answers. Fashion: At my age of 70 I like comfort more than fashion. I do like to look nice, but only when I am going somewhere where people I know will see me. LOL. (Church) I prefer comfortable shoes and clothes... and my hubby talks a lot too. He was a teacher and a preacher and now he has only me for an audience. But I've heard most of the stories many times before in 51+ years. LOL. Oh well, at least we're still talking to each other after all these years. LOL. I am very thankful for that. Have a blessed week.

  12. I hate reality TV too - especially those Kardashian folks.
