Relaxing
Do you keep busy all the time? Many people don't take time to smell the roses. What about you?
1. When was the last time you sat down and relaxed and allowed the weight of the world to melt away? I try to do this over the weekend so I can recharge for the next week.
2. what things do you find most relaxing? How often do you get to do these things? I mostly watch Hallmark movies to relax or read. I can get movies in, but I need quiet to read and Karl is home on the weekend.
3. What things wind you up and keep you from relaxing? emails from the school or parents contacting me at night.
4. When was the last time you treated yourself to something, anything that is special? I haven't done this lately, but I am thinking about doing some Christmas shopping tonight and I may go get some new tennis shoes.
Oh, I can imagine those emails or calls from parents/school could be very distracting and/or disturbing. You are a very special lady to be a teacher in this day and time. Parents are not always as supportive of the teachers as they used to be, and the kids aren't always as well disciplined as they should be. But I know you teach little ones and they are still "teachable" hopefully! Being a teacher is an awesome responsibility, and my hat is off to you. Thank you for what you do to help mold the little ones into strong and good characters! :)

ReplyDeleteI like to watch Hallmark movies too. I don't think I would like to get emails from work. I am glad you like your job. I like to go Christmas shopping when I know what to get. I have bought several ornaments, and I will pass them out at Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteI can't read while something is on the TV, especially if it's a movie my hubby watches..usually action and he has the TV up loud..lol. I need to read without distraction.
