Tuesday 4 Meme- Your Reading Opinions

Your Reading Opinions

Tuesday 4 welcomes you and hopes that you are enjoying the questions we ask each week In
spite of moves and television, reading is still a popular way to spend time for many people all
over the world. All kinds of people read all kinds of books.   I thought maybe we could talk
about it a bit this week and get your personal opinions on the subject.

1. What are some essential classic books that everyone should read at least once in their lifetime? To Kill A Mockingbird, Grapes of Wrath, Jane Eyre.

2.  Monday September 22 is the first day of Autumn.
Would you make up a list for us of books that you think would make great Autumn reading?  YIKES...I do not read during Autumn, I am just too busy at school.  I do start looking for Christmas books to read over Christmas holidays at that time though.  I am planning to read The Wedding People and One Golden Summer before I stop, so they will be in the next few weeks.

3  What genre will we find most in your library? Sci Fi, Romance, adventure, biography, non fiction, mystery?  What do you like most about the genre?  Psychological thrillers
(my minor in college was psychology), romance (I enjoy a love story sometimes) and
historical fiction (I like to learn about historical issues this way).  Those are my favorites,
but I like to try many genres and I have found that I enjoy most genres.

4  What book would you like to see made into a movie? Any idea on who should be cast in the rolls?  I just read a book called My Friends by Fredrik Bachman.  It was so good and I think
it would make a great movie.  Fredrik Bachman also write Man Called Ove.  I highly recommend it.
It is written beautifully and is about friendships and much more.

Today we start meetings at school and kids start next week.  I will be by to visit as soon as I get home.  Have a great day!

  3. Those are good classics. I know you love to read and it must be hard when you have to go back to school. Your siggie is so cute!

  4. I like your classics list. There are so many good classics. I've read a lot of them but still many more to go through. You start back to school a bit earlier than we do here. Classes won't begin until after Labour Day which is the first Monday of September. Enjoy the brief time remaining until you are in the full swing of things.
