Manic Monday

I took Josh to the orthodontist today, then as soon as we got home there was a message on the phone from a realtor wanting to show our house. I cleaned the house and did some laundry really fast and while they were showing the house we went to the library. Josh returned his books and checked out a new one, in the meantime I have all 3 dogs in the car. Then after that we went to Karl's mom's house to wait until the people were gone from looking at the house. Well here is the thing with our house. The people last week that looked at it really liked it, but we have some repairs to make and it seems like they were in a hurry to get in a house and made a bid on another house. Since then we have been working on the repairs. Well, Karl and his dad have been. Tonight when we got home Karl started pulling wallpaper off the wall and painting the laundry room. I helped with the wallpaper. We are getting there.
Tomorrow I plan to do some training for work on the computer. It should not take long. I have to watch a film and take a test over it. Then I need to get back in there and try to get more wallpaper off the wall so Karl can paint it when he gets home. He likes to paint.
Have a great week!! Here is my new sigtag from Judy!! I love it!! Thanks Judy!!

  2. Hi Lori;

    Too bad that couple couldn't wait while you were doing repairs on the house. I used to hate removing wallpaper but maybe it's easier nowadays. Have a lovely day ahead my friend. Hugs

  3. Some people are just in a hurry. :) God will bring the perfect buyer for your house. Where are you all moving to? Love the new sigtag!

  4. Hi Lori! Good luck on selling your house. Are you planning to stay in the same area? I assume so because of your job and all. We're back from Carmel and I posted a photo. May post a few more tomorrow but was tired after the long drive. (((Hugz)))

  5. There isn't much I dislike more than removing wallpaper from a wall! It's not an easy job. I've fallen in love with paint - the more colorful, the better! :) Good luck with your house selling!

  6. Hi Lori, where will you live if you sell your house? I seen in your past posts that you don't have a house to move into yet.
    I love looking at houses It's hard to find one you can afford and love, sooner or later you just have to go with something for now I guess. I am pretty happy with my house but would love to live on a country road with neighbors close enough to see, but not right as close as our house, though many houses are actually closer together then ours. Eeeks! they call that zero lot homes in CA, that is not for us at all. Have a great week. Big hugs!

  7. I hope you get a bite on the house soon! It can be such a stressful, but also fun time! :)
