Wednesday Medley- It's All About Halloween!
It is all about Halloween!
1. You’re in a horror movie. Are you the final person left, the first to die, the comic relief, the skeptic, the smart one, or the killer? Probably the first to die.
2. While watching scary movies, are you the person who yells at the characters, the person with their eyes covered the whole time or the person who falls asleep? When I watched scary movies I paid attention and would scream. I do not watch them anymore, they give me nightmares.
3. If you were dared to spend the night in a “haunted house”, would you do it? nope
4. Favorite horror monster or villain? Hannibal Lector, I actually wanted to be a profiler because of him. I would never do that now. I do not know what I was thinking.
5. Favorite horror or Halloween-themed song? Monster Mash
6. Tell us something random about your week. My husband and I started binge watching an older show on Amazon Prime, our son watched it already. I am liking it...Mr. Selfridge. If you haven't seen it, it is about the first department store. It is in London and is still open today! Selfridge's! I had never even heard of it. Has anyone been to this store?
Happy Halloween!!!

Joe and I watched every episode of Selfridge! Loved it, especially since it is based on facts. If you like it, you would also like The Paradise. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Paradise_(TV_series)
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining in on the Medley!! I answered Monster Mash too!
I will have to check out that show now. I am so with you on the NOPE for the haunted house...I do not know what the people that say yes are thinking!!!
ReplyDeleteHi, dropping in from the Medley link. I have been to Selfridges but then I live in London so it would be strange if I hadn't! That, plus Harrods and Fortnum & Mason are definitely must see stores when visiting and Hamleys if you have kids.
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing at your Hannibal Lector answer. I've not seen the movie, just the clip, and refuse to watch it!! I've watched some episodes of Selfridges, but not all. The true story ends very sadly. Maybe I'll stop in in December. Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteWe watched the whole series of Mr. Selfridge and enjoyed it very much. I wish we had known about that when we visited London. Another favorite of ours on Netflix was Foyle's War. We loved it.
ReplyDeleteNow how many scary movies did you have to watch before you knew you better quit? Haha.
I don't know who Hannibal Lextor is?!
I'd not heard of Selfridge's … but it sounds like a great alternative to the stuff shown on network!
ReplyDeleteBecoming a profiler would be SO interesting, yes. Unfortunately, I wouldn't have the necessary brain cells. :)
I've been to Selfridges! Now will have to watch the show!
ReplyDelete"I dont know what I was thinking" - that so made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteI forgot about Hannibal Lector. They don't get much more monster-esk than that character. We watched a show recently and they mentioned him and showed a short scene from the movie. Such a horrible man! Yes, we watched most if not all of the Selfridges on PBS. It was good and yes the ending was sad, but a very well done movie based on truth. I have not been there unfortunately. Enjoy your weekend and thanks for stopping by my blog. Hope to see you here next Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteHi Lori.... I'm not patient with medical issues, either. I'll wait with you, and we can try to bolster each other's patience.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about men not wanting to talk about anything over a phone especially with a woman. I sometimes had to work a hotline for at the Red Cross, and we really needed a guy to deal with the guys. lol
Insurance should cover mental illness because underlaying far too many mental problems is an un-diagnosed physical illness. We found that out with our daughter.
Have a lovely and restful weekend. You deserve it!
