The Thanksgiving Feast
Welcome, welcome to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4 .
Let's talk about the Thanksgiving Feast.
1. Do you celebrate with family, friends or by yourself? Family
2. Do you watch the Thanksgiving Day parade from Macy's in New York City? The appearance of Santa at the end signals the start of the Christmas season. What does the day hold for you? Dinner with family, Macy Parade, Dog Show, football, online shopping. Josh has to work a little while (4PM-9PM). We might start decorating the inside of the house for Christmas. It is a busy fun day.
3. What foods are the hit of Thanksgiving Day for you? Pumpkin Pie, hot rolls, deviled eggs. We are smoking our turkey and that is always yummy. I am making baked beans this year too.
4. We say grace before and after meals. Is grace a part of your Thanksgiving meal? Definitely!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone and Happy Birthday, Ann! My mom's birthday is the same day.
Sounds like a happy and fun day. Smoked turkey is really good. I prefer that to the fried turkey. But ours will be the traditional roasted turkey. We don't have a smoker. And Happy Birthday to your Mom. Will she be with you on Thanksgiving? Have a blessed and wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteBaked beans sound good too! I will probably do some online shopping too. Happy Thanksgiving!

ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Lori! Love & hugs!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a Happy Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteYour day sounds pretty much like ours. We watch a little of the parade and always watch the dog show. Football is iffy. My stepdad used to smoke our turkies but he hasn't felt up to it for several years. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
ReplyDeleteYour Thanksgiving day sounds like so much fun! Enjoy and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteI love a lot of those yummy foods too. I don't think anyone is making deviled eggs...hmmm...
