Sunday Stealing- Quirky Questions

https://sundaystealing.blogspot.com/

 1.   Did you become what you wanted to be when you grew up? Are you happy with your choice?  no and yes...when I was in high school I wanted to work in the field of medical technology.  It would have been my dream to be able to work on a cure for diseases.  My friends always said I should be a teacher...my dad was a teacher too.  I didn't want to do that...hahahaha....I went to college and I know we have a fellow blogger that is in medical technology...maybe two friends...anyway...it is a difficult field.  I am terrible at math and that is just not acceptable for that field  I am really good at science especially chemistry.  Anyway,  changed my major to sociology and psycology thinking I would be a counselor, but when I graduated my life went in a different direction.  I was offered a job with then Department of Mental Health, but I turned it down to go back to school and be a early childhood teacher.  I think that is the best decision I ever could have made.  so, no I didn't do what I originally wanted, but yes I am happy with my final choice.

2.    Did man really go to the moon or was it a publicity stunt?  I believe it happened.  If it didn't...how stupid is that to stage it?  I know our government does stupid stuff all of the time, but I mean how dumb.

3.    Given the opportunity to change one major aspect of your life (i.e. career, relationship, family) with no guarantee of the outcome, would you take the chance? Why?  I don't think I would change anything.

4.    Does money buy happiness?  no, but it can buy you things that can make you happy for a while...dogs. Hee, hee

5.    What is the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?  I have to lay there and wake up for a bit.  Lately, I have been walking on my treadmill almost right away.

6.    What are we going to do when we run out of room to bury the dead?  I dont think that is going to be a problem.  Hopefully Jesus comes before then.

7.    What is your greatest fear? Why? Is it rational or unreasonable?  snakes and mice.  I think it is pretty irrational.  I know they will not hurt me if I stay away from them, but I absolutely freak out.  I am not scared of spiders, but I have friends that are and it is the same thing.  I am less afraid if mice.  I mean snakes are another level.  I have nightmares about them at times chasing me.

8.    How do you feel about the exploitation of your private data in the digital age? Does it ever cross your mind or are you hyper-aware of the risks?  Let me just say I am totally aware of it, but I don't really think about it or worry about it.

9.    You can be forgiven one debt. What is it? If you don’t have debt, then how did you do it?  credit card.  We do not owe much on our house and we owe nothing on our cars.

10.    Hot or cold?  I like it when it is hot...are we talking about weather?

11.    What is your favorite thing in the world (aside from family, friends, pets)?  children...here is a picture taken of me today that I am going to send to the kids.

12.    You have to give up one of your five senses. Which one would you go without?  I hate this question because I love all of my senses.  I think I usually say taste to this question hoping I would eat more healthy.

13.    Do you believe everyone has a doppelgänger?  I kind of do.  I even saw mine one time when I was watching a St. Louis Cardinals game.  I paused the tv and just stared at her.   I couldn't believe it.  It was a long time ago, but if it ever happens again...I will take a picture.  It was crazy!

14.    Likewise, does everyone have a soulmate or is it just a matter of proximity and circumstance?  I am not sure about that.

15.    Imagine you have a theme song that plays every time you enter a room. What would your song be?  The thought of this cracks me up.  I am not sure.  If you have any ideas let me know in the comments.  Maybe Happy by Pharell?

  2. Interesting answers. Espeically to the burial question. I'm sure there are other ways of dealing with people after they have died. Burial at sea? Cremation - do what the Zoroastrians do. You have an interesting view on this. Good post.

  3. I've learned to never ask "how stupid could they be" because it's like the world takes it as a challenge and reaches for new heights! LOL
What a cute picture of you! Your kiddos loved it, I'm sure.
"Happy" is a good song for you.
    Have a blessed Sunday, Lori!

  4. YOu would have loved our cat. When she was younger, she brought a love mouse into the bedroom and dropped it on Mrs PM while she was asleep.

I have rarely laughed so much in my life.

The neighbours must have thought I was trying to kill her, the scream was so bloodcurdling.

    :o)

    Cheers

    1. I would have done the same as Mrs. PM! When my dog Mandy was alive she drug in a dead rabbit from outside. It was late at night. I had to wake up my husband to get it out of the house...a live mouse would really freak me out and bless the cats heart...they probably brought it because they love Mrs. PM so much.
