  2. Now that I think about it, I never caught a butterfly--as in chased and captured it--but they land on me often.

  3. Karin Slaughter is a very good writer, but I admit that I'm afraid to give her another shot. Years ago I read her book "Cop Town," which was about the first women on a major police force (Atlanta, I think). It was engrossing but so violent and disturbing! The fact that her book has stayed with me is a testament to her skill.

  6. Black Beauty makes me cry too. So far I am liking Crawdads... it took me a bit to get into it as well. Happy Sunday!

  8. Most of us, so far, can whistle. Sweet!
I'll look into your author mention. It's best to just read and knit and let the world go by now. Peaceful...
Wishing you a good week at work and at home.

  10. LOved reading your answers! When I was a teen and young adult, freckles were the bane of my existence! I hated them. I don't have them any more. They have been replaced by old age spots! Don't like those either! Have a great week.

  11. Dogs barking is a sound I miss. We're committed to cats now sadly. I still love dogs.
