Happy July 1st!!

We ended up having to put a muzzle on Meisha, she was hiding under the chairs and would not come out. She scared one of the girls, so we muzzled her. Then another girl came out to help and Meisha was fine. They got the stitches out. So glad that is over.
I got a lot of homework done. I did my reading for next week and my discussion boards so I can start working on my paper. I am going to try to work on that today. I will not be able to finish it, but if I can just get it started, I will be happy.
I knew I would be preaching to the choir when talking about teaching with you girls. Most of you are teachers and understand. I get questioned a lot from family and friends. Thanks for understanding.
I need to do some laundry today too. This stuff will not take much time. I am not sure what else trouble I will get into, but I will let you know. Have a great day!!

  2. Happy 1st Day of July Lori;

    Poor Meisha, she must have been so frightened. Hopefully she'll forget about her experience at the vet's and frightening that poor girl. Can't blame her though as there are times I'd like to bite the hand that's taking my blood tests too. LOL!!

    Have a wonderful weekend and Happy 4th!! Hugs

  3. Hi Lori! Glad the stitches came out. Hope you and your family enjoy the long holiday weekend. I'm sure you'll have lot to do, as always! (((Hugz)))

  4. Poor Meisha! Dink does not like going to the vet. When we go, even though there is more than one vet in the building, I always make sure I take him to a specific one, because she tolerates his behavior. He is very friendly to all women - except her! She is the only woman he has ever "grumbled" at. She just laughs at him. One of the male vets muzzles him, and I don't like that. I'm glad she survived her vet experience! At least *that* is something she'll never have to do again! :)

  5. Hi Lori,
    Thanks for your very warm welcome! Poor Meisha! She must've been scared to death.

    Getting started on writing a paper was always the hardest part for me. Once started, it just flows.

    Hope you have a great long w/e and a happy 4th of July. Hugz!!

  6. Poor Meisha!!! I would have wanted to hide under the chairs too. :(

    Hope you had a good 4th!!!
