Several of you asked about the St. Jude's Dream Home. It is a home that is built and then people buy tickets (chances) to win the home. The tickets are $100 each and are limited to 6000 tickets. The money that is made all goes to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. I understand that several cities build these, and some of you mentioned you had heard of it, but others weren't sure what it was, so that is the short story. I did not take pictures, but I grabbed a picture off a local website of it and I have a link to a virtual tour if you are interested. It is not long, maybe a minute. It is a gorgeous home. ReplyDeleteI never heard of the St. Jude Homes before. What a gorgeous home. I could live very comfortably in a place like that. :) The kitchen is wonderful as is the whole house.
What a great book Josh is reading. Even though it's geared for his age group, it looks interesting enough for adults. I couldn't imagine dust winds twirling at 100 miles an hour!

Hi Lori! Wow, I would take a chance for 100 dollars on that home especially with a one in 6,000 chance! Beats the lotery odds! Naturally, I was looking at the hardwood floors! ;) Hope the dentist visit goes well. (((Hugz)))
